Stephen & Ashley | Married

I am so excited to share my final wedding of the year with you all. Stephen and Ashley's day was filled with rustic and personal touches, including a caravan of classic cars, photos at Ashley and Stephen's home and a pretty awesome cupcake tower that Ashley's dad assembled for the reception. I really couldn't have asked for a better couple or wedding to end my season with. All of my brides and grooms from this past year have me feeling so inspired and insanely excited for what's to come in 2015!

Josh & Lauryn | Married

Josh and Lauryn's wedding day was absolutely perfect.

They granted me such an amazing gift as a wedding photographer, doing a first look. It's so fun and special to be able to photograph the first moments of a bride and groom seeing each other before the ceremony. If you're debating on whether or not to do a first look, do it! It helps ease nerves and always produces such emotional photos, whether it's laughing or crying! Josh and Lauryn created such a cool and unique environment for their wedding day, with pops of purple, white pumpkins, a pretty SICKK candy bar and an adorable squirrel cake topper. It was such a pleasure to capture their day!

Dom and Kaitlyn

With all of this snow falling to the ground, it's so nice to share this unseasonably warm September wedding day. I could share every image from Dom and Kaitlyn's day, but I won't (only because this would be a very lengthy blog post). I also won't go on and on about what an amazing couple these two are, because I feel like each image speaks for itself and truly shows how filled with love, and pure joy their day was. DSC_6221DSC_6239DSC_6268DSC_6295DSC_6312DSC_6332DSC_6354DSC_6380DSC_6509DSC_6514DSC_6533DSC_6585DSC_6609DSC_6639DSC_6644DSC_6665DSC_6789DSC_6812DSC_6871DSC_6884DSC_6930DSC_6954DSC_7001DSC_7008DSC_7231DSC_7247DSC_7248DSC_7269DSC_7271DSC_7280DSC_7283DSC_7289DSC_7290DSC_7314                                                                                                                                           DSC_7372DSC_7375DSC_7381DSC_7396DSC_7413DSC_7422DSC_7424DSC_7437DSC_7452DSC_7461DSC_7483DSC_7489DSC_7536DSC_7540DSC_7545DSC_7549DSC_7557DSC_7566DSC_7570DSC_7577DSC_7579DSC_7596DSC_7654DSC_7664DSC_7693DSC_7735DSC_7818DSC_7822DSC_7991DSC_7993DSC_8152DSC_8153DSC_8164DSC_8179DSC_8182DSC_8203DSC_8214DSC_8237DSC_8272DSC_8345DSC_8398DSC_8416DSC_8432DSC_8441DSC_8524DSC_8541DSC_8556DSC_8559DSC_8469

Joe & Nicole | Married

Nicole and Joe were married in a plant filled greenhouse at Olney's Flowers (where Nicole works), and it has to be one of favorite ceremony spots everrrr. Following the ceremony, we headed to the Utica Train Station, in case we needed to dodge any scattered rain showers (luckily we didn't). The combination of the textured buildings, a super fun wedding party, and Nicole and Joe's laid back personalities helped to make some beautiful portraits and an even more beautiful wedding day.

Matt & Sylwia | Married

Matt and Sylwia were married in a gorgeous lakeside ceremony at The Woods Inn in Inlet, NY. We hadn't had a chance to meet before the wedding (they live in New York City), but they were so sweet and welcoming right away. I love that they kept their wedding party small. Pairing the small wedding party with beautiful rustic details, lots of laughs and LOTS of dancing made the whole wedding day feel so intimate and special. It was such a treat to photograph this couple on their wedding day!

Eric & Megan | Married

Eric and Megan's wedding was such a treat to photograph. Their cocktail hour and reception were held at the Rome Art & Community Center, which was a venue that fit their elegant wedding and sweet personalities so well.  The rain even held off just until everyone entered the tent for the reception,  which is a win in my book!

Joe and Nicole: Engaged

I met this awesome couple on a sunny Sunday morning, In a great part of Rome that offers tons of amazing backdrops for sessions. ( brick walls and ivy are my jam) Nicole suggested that we shoot over to Erie Canal Village for the grassy fields, and it did not disappoint! I am so excited to shoot this sweet couple's wedding in September.

Dom & Kaitlyn: Engaged

It has taken everything in me not to post this ENTIRE session, I love every image so much.  I think the key to a great session is being comfortable. I get it, trust me, It's weird and intimidating to have anyone stick a camera in your face, let alone a stranger. It's not natural for most of us. But being able to relax during your session, even if it's a tiny bit, will make you feel better about yourself and will make my job a lot easier. Granted, part of my job is to help you feel natural and comfortable (cue what I like to call my signature 'not so poised, but a little-bit-witty Jordan charm'), but when a couple allows themselves to loosen up, giggle and joke with each other, it allows me to capture them in an honest, organic way. Dom and Kaitlyn did just that during their session. They were so themselves, that really I was just stalking their lives and guiding their motions with poses. (Stalking in a non creepy way, of course.)

I'm so looking forward to their wedding in the fall!

Travis & Heather:Engaged

I spent a chilly Sunday morning with Travis, Heather and their 3 children. We managed to get some great engagement and family pictures in before we all decided that we were absolutely freezing! (I think the kids managed the cold better than the adults, hah) DSC_7871DSC_7883  DSC_7886DSC_7890DSC_7944DSC_8006DSC_8011-2  DSC_8024DSC_8041DSC_8057DSC_8060-2DSC_8167  DSC_8311DSC_8252DSC_8278-2DSC_8288DSC_8304-2DSC_8337
