hi, hello, how the hell are ya?

do you want to work together but you also want to make sure i’m not a total weirdo? well, this is where I tell you all about myself... spoiler alert: I am a total weirdo.

- Tell me more-

I’m a MA to our little girl gang, Arlo (8), Rooney (5) and Blue (1.5). A wife to my high school sweetheart, Frank. I’m a tiny bit “granola”.. a thrifter, gardener, and amateur chicken farmer. I have a love for flowers, making homemade bread, yoga/meditation and generally anything else that forces me to slow down. I can talk a lot but consider myself an introvert. I’m an early riser, and deeply enjoy cranking some Dolly Parton on a back road while my kids yell at me from the backseat to “turn it down and put my window up, MOM!”.. kids, they keep ya humble, don’t they?

In my photography, I love to connect with the families and couples that hire me in order to capture them in the most authentic way I can.. Having your photos taken shouldn’t feel like a chore, or a pain, it’s an experience that we get to share together. To play, to laugh, to cry.. whatever it is that is truly you. That’s what I’m here for.

Over the last 13 years, my photography and photography philosophy have evolved so much. I used to care more about climbing the wedding industry ladder, getting all of the “perfect” shots, and doing what I saw a lot of the other photographers around me doing. Now, I could not give two shits (lolll). I quite literally just want to photograph families in their pajamas, surrounded by chaos and REAL moments. I feel this deep need to photograph the imperfect parts of life and to reject those old philosophies. Let’s create something together that feels true to you. With all the mess and chaos. That’s what I’ve come to know as the most important parts of living.

Let me give it to you straight-

I don’t have a bunch of fancy awards, blog features or one jillion instagram followers. I’ll probably never have those things because that’s not what I’m focused on. I want to connect with good hearted humans and document all of the silly, unplanned and in between moments that I find the most beautiful. That’s what is important to me.

If you’re looking for someone who is going to put her heart and soul into her work, tell corny jokes, capture the truest you and probably trip 3 times while doing all that- Welp, you’ve found your girl!

My kinda people are the ones ready to happily treck through a field of weeds for an epic photo. They’re willing to trust my process, and bravely show themselves, weirdness and all. Normalness, too. I don’t discriminate.

Other indicators that we’re a match made in photography heaven:

you’re shamelessly in love with the real housewives, romantic comedies and/or true crime podcasts
you can take down a whole bowl of broccoli but also a whole pint of ice cream, having an equal amount of adoration for both
